PVC Monofilaments

The PVC monofilaments are still widely used to produce household cleaning items as well as industrial ones. Thanks to their excellent physical features, PVC filaments are still the favorite and most versatile for these applications.

The excellent workability, quality consistency, the wide color palette available, still make the PVC the component number one to produce high-end finished items.

PVC filaments are available in different sections, flaggable or non-flaggable, in different diameters ranging from 0.16mm to 1.50mm. They can be supplied level or in a selection of different crimping, even mixing different sections, colors, and diameters. They are available in an incredibly wide choice of colors, ranging from the evergreen classics to the trendiest ones. The PVC filaments are self-extinguishing, non-hygroscopic and have a good resistance to chemical agents and solvents.

UV-resistance additives can be used on request, to protect PVC filaments from sun exposure deterioration.

PVC Special

SPECIAL filaments come from special compounds made of particular raw material grades and is normally realized in strict connection with the customers. Mainly used for very specific applications such as very high-end finished items, technical products, or toys.

PVC Smart

SMART filaments are realized using the best formulations made of very carefully selected raw materials. Outstanding mechanical features, available in all diameters, crimping, colors, and sections of the range Fili & Forme Mapei. They are the most used filaments for brooms and for all other household products.

PVC Light

Created and developed by Fili & Forme Mapei to produce brooms. Its main feature is the lightness, which is normally a 12% lower than the traditional PVC. Outstanding flaggability, available in a range of diameters from 0.40mm to 0.65mm, level only, with round section and in all the colors of the range, black excluded.

PVC Renew

PVC ReNew is realized recovering high quality and selected regenerated post-production raw materials. The product shows excellent mechanical features and a good flaggability grade.

ReNew boasts all the advantages typical of a more competitive formulation and therefore an excellent value-for-money. Available in all colors of range, it assures color consistency in different production lots.

Available diameters from 0.40mm to 0.65mm, level only.

PVC Basic

PVC Basic is realized using a considerable quantity of post-production regenerated raw materials and is aimed to the manufacturing of medium-low positioned finished products. It is available in diameters ranging from 0.40mm to 0.65mm, level only, in red, green, yellow, blue, grey and black colors, not selectable from the color palette and with slight color nuances variations possible from lot to lot.

Excellent value-for-money, it has very good flaggability and has been formulated for the recovery of regenerated materials.

PVC Relive

PVC Relive has been realized with the purpose of a strong recovery of post-production raw materials.

Excellent value-for-money, it shows a good flaggability and is available in black and grey colors only, outlining its recycled nature.

Diameters ranging from 0.45mm to 1.40mm flaggable and non-flaggable.
